The Committee appointed to investigate Kansas Affairs deem it proper to advise you that it is their wish that the Two Contestants Hon J.W. Whitfield and Hon A.H. Reeder should be present at examinations to be had by the Com. on terms of perfect equality.  You can therefore, attend, if you choose so to do - at your own expense – to look after your own interest in connection with said investigation.
