Honorable Walter A. Huxman,

Kansas State Capital,

Topeka, Kansas,

Sir:

The attention and action you have given to the unjust prejudice against members of my race in the Kansas State School of Medicine are sincerely appreciated.  I am sure I speak the opinion of other negro students in the remainder of the state supported institutions of higher learning, because they too are confronted by such unjust practices.

RECEIVED                                        Respectfully Yours,

AUG 3-1938                                       Emerald L. Moon

[PETITION] OF THE GOVERNOR
