This photograph shows Warren M. Crosby's store after a wall collapsed. The collapse occurred when a filled-in cistern caused the soil around the building to be weakened. The problem was exacerbated by construction on a building addition. The building and contents suffered $1000 in damages but no injuries resulted from the collapse. Despite the missing west wall, the store remained open to the public.
