This black and white photograph shows a street scene in Matfield Green, Kansas. Named after an English community in England, the town was a railhead along the Atchison, Topeka, and Santa Fe Railway Company for shipping cattle out of the Flint Hills region of Chase County, Kansas.

Date: Between 1910 and 1930
