This photograph shows an exterior view of Maule's Union Square Pharmacy in Wichita, Kansas. The large sign reads, "Prescriptions," and traditional pharmacy and medical symbols are visible in at least five places on the building. At the far left of the picture is the caduceus, a traditional medical symbol. The traditional mortar and pestle pharmacy symbol is visible on the large sign and on the door. The traditional Rx pharmacy prescription symbol is visible on the large sign and twice on a logo on the window for the "NPPI." A sign in the window names the pharmacist in charge as R. T. McKinney, and the pharmacists as Marion Jansen and D. J. Maule. Another sign advertises money orders and the store hours. Shelves filled with various items are visible through the windows.
