This brochure advertises the routes of the Kansas Pacific Railway Company, with emphasis on accommodations, both passenger and freight, from the western states to the east. Specifically, the company claims such exclusive features as, "the quickest and best route to Kansas City, Leavenworth, St. Louis, Chicago, and all Atlantic seaboard cities"; Pullman cars on all through trains; and special rates for ore, wool, and hide shipments from Colorado and New Mexico. An etching of the Kansas Pacific Railway depot at Denver is featured, with the statement, "Remember, through tickets from Pueblo to all eastern points, are sold only via Kansas Pacific Railway. The only route running Pullman palace cars from Denver to the East. "This is the only line by which you can check your baggage through to all eastern cities." The reverse side of the brochure shows time tables for the Kansas Pacific Railway Company from Denver to Kansas City, and for the Denver and Rio Grande Railway Company from Canon City, Colorado to Denver, Colorado. There is also a map showing the routes from Cheyenne, Wyoming, Denver, Colorado and LaJunta, Colorado in the west, to Leavenworth, Kansas and Kansas City, Missouri in the east.
