This is a photograph of Murlyn Mathias (right) and O. D. Harrell (left) walking along a street near Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. During World War II, Mathias, from Topeka, Kansas, was a photographer and darkroom technician for the Photo-Litho Section of the Joint Intelligence Center, Pacific Ocean Areas.
