This flowchart, presently in four pieces, charts individual railroad formations, consolidations, and acquisitions between 1859 and 1907 resulting in the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Rail Road Company Eastern Lines as of 1907. The map depicts the result. Included are the states of Illinois, Missouri, Kansas and Oklahoma. In many cases the dates and miles of construction are shown.
