This black and white stereograph taken from a glass plate negative shows the "Russell Record" newspaper shop in Russell, Kansas. The interior view of the shop has a view of the printing press used to publish the "Russell Record". A republican journal established in 1874, that pledged to write in the best interest of Russell County, Kansas. Over the years, the paper became the voice of the community until it merged with the "Russell Daily News" on June 1, 2000.
