A view of Santa Fe engine M.190, a Santa Fe motor car powered with a distillate engine and used as an experimental locomotive in the development of the diesel electric locomotive. Designed in 1932 by a cooperative effort between Winton Engine Manufacturing Company, Electro Motive Corporation, Pullman Car and Manufacturing, and the Atchison, Topeka & Santa Fe Railway.
