Senator Joseph L. Bristow, Kansas, presented these comments in the Senate of the United States, July 31,1913; March 2, 19, and 20, 1914. The July remarks were presented as "petitions and memorials" and Bristow outlined the history of approving voting rights for women in Kansas. He was a supporter of suffrage for women. The remarks on March 2, 19, and 20, 1914, are all supporting a joint resolution that would extend suffrage to women.
