C. Wood Davis wrote this pamphlet as a response to testimony before the Committee on Agriculture of the U.S. House of Representatives by W. C. Brown, manager of the Isaac Harter Company of Fostoria, Ohio. Mr. Davis presents the Populist perspective on the various methods of pricing crops listed in the title of this pamphlet.
