Date: May 09, 1862
This item indicates that Shawnee Indian Elizabeth Ironsides sold 80 acres of land to James N. Big Knife of Lexington, Kansas, on May 9, 1862. The sale of the land and the transfer of the warrant for the land was witnessed by H.A. Burgess, interpreter Matthew King, Indian Agent James Burnett Abbott, and one other man.
