Otis Potter diploma
Date: October 1859
A diploma awarded to Otis Potter (1807-1892) by the Douglas County Agricultural Society for his marrowfat squashes. Three years earlier, Otis Potter was presented with John Brown's sword for housing Brown and his family while in Lawrence.
