This atlas, compiled from county records and actual surveys, contains maps of each Cherokee County township with the names of landowners. It has a patrons' directory and plats of towns. A large fold out plat of Empire City and Galena is included and is also available as unit 225944.

A photograph of the Stippville mining camp store. Stippville was located approximately 4 miles north of Columbus in Cherokee County. Most of the homes were located on plots of land consisting of one to three acres.
