C., in response to a request from William Hutchinson for assistance in Hutchinson's plan to speculate in land on the Delaware Indian reservation in Kansas Territory. Collamer informs Hutchinson that it does not appear that the anticipated treaty with the Delaware would be negotiated during the current session of Congress.
