This photograph shows an unidentified Atchison, Topeka & Santa Fe Railway Company employee loading a pack donkey at Abo Canyon, New Mexico. Also visible is a canvas tent in the background. Construction began in the canyon in 1905 and was completed in 1908.

These two black and white photographs show a group of tipis at an unknown location. The first image shows meat and animal hides drying beside the structures, and in the distance, a mountain range is visible. The second image by William S. Soule shows a Cheyenne camp with tipis arranged like a village. To the left, two people are visible sitting in front of one of the dwellings.

These Boy Scouts of Liberal, Kansas, are preparing to go over the top of Pikes Peak at Colorado Springs, Colorado. Also visible are two rows of pup tents, a utility pole and power lines, several open buses, and a mountain range in the background (with an indication of Pikes Peak itself).
