These are panoramic photographs of locations in Kansas created by the Kansas Film Commission to promote scenes to film companies. The panoramics were created by taking individual photos and taping them together. The photographs are arranged alphabetically by subject and then location. The subjects included in this part of the collection are convention centers (including livestock arenas), courthouses, and courtrooms.

These two cabinet cards show Ling Gymnasium in Lindsborg, Kansas. The earlier of the two photos captures the gymnasium under construction; the building was completed in 1895. Ling Gymnasium was an all-wood, sixteen-sided structure built on the campus of Bethany College. It had a seating capacity of 3,500 and was used for athletic and physical education activities. Ling Gymnasium also served as the venue for performances of the Messiah prior to construction of Presser Hall. The gymnasium was named after Per Henrick Ling, noted Swede who pioneered physical education and gymnastics training regimens. Ling Gymnasium was destroyed by fire in 1946.

A postcard showing the Municipal Auditorium, Topeka, Kansas. In the late 1930s the Federal Public Works Agency (PWA) approved a grant for nearly $7,000,000 to construct the Municipal Auditorium. Designs for city offices were added to the north side of the structure. Contracts for the building were awarded to F. M. "Earl" Spencer, general contractor, A. Tucker Electric Co. for wiring, and U.S. Engineering Co. of Kansas City for plumbing, heating and ventilation. The building took three years to complete.
