Five photographs, including interior and exterior views, of Herrmann Shoe and Harness Shop in Alma, Kansas. Ferdinand Herrmann (1843-1919) owned and operated the shop in the 100 block of West Main Street (now West 3rd Street). Ferdinand's wife, Christina, and several of their children are identified in the photographs.

This album contains photographs of Ellinwood and Barton County, Kansas, taken by John Christoph. On June 18, 1891, he opened a photography gallery in the north room of a furniture store and continued in the business until February 14, 1919. Christoph also served as the Ellinwood police judge for twenty years.

Joseph and Marie Leinacker Stadler on their wedding day. The other people in the photograph are Anna Leinacker and C. Etzel. The Stadlers were married in 1917, and they settled in North Topeka on Highway 24. Joseph Stadler came to American from Prussia around 1910, and Marie came from Prussia around 1900. He owned a shoe repair shop and worked for the Atchison, Topeka & Santa Fe Railway.

Joseph and Marie Leinacker Stadler and their twelve children, Topeka, Kansas. The Stadlers were married on September 3, 1917, and they settled in North Topeka on Highway 24.
