This print represents Kansas Governor Alfred Mossman Landon. He was governor from 1933 to 1937. In 1936, he ran as the Republican candidate for President, losing to President Franklin Roosevelt.

Henry Maloy, illustrator of the first Jayhawk, co-created this program for the KU Class of 1914 fiftieth anniversary reunion. The front cover shows "The Faculty Man," Maloy's caricature of a KU professor. The program includes a schedule of events, menus, geographical distribution of alumni, lists of deceased and lost alumni, excerpts from The Daily Kansan, and committee members. Maloy has annotated this program as well as a newspaper clipping of the event.

Shawnee Chief Ten-squat-a-way "Prophet" photograph

This woodblock print on white paper represents the Shawnee Chief Ten-squat-a-way, also known as the "Prophet". Born March 1768 in Ohio, he worked with his brother, Tecumseh (1768-1813), to create a pan-tribal confederacy to resist United States encroachment in the Northwest Territory. The print shows the Prophet wearing jewelry and a headdress.
