Date: Between 1964 and 1965
This is a first day issue envelope of Amelia Earhart with a post mark date of July 24, 1963, autographed by female aviator Tiny Broadwick (Georgia Thompson Brown), a famed parachutist from 1908 to 1922. She was the first woman to parachute from an airplane on June 21, 1913, and the first person to demonstrate parachutes to the U.S. government in 1914. She also was a pioneered in the development of the parachute pack. A program honoring Tiny Broadwick was included with the envelope.
