Sterling commemorative spoon. Scene of "St. John's Military Academy Salina, Kans." in bowl. Handle and stem bear the State Seal and Kansas on the obverse and a tipi and canoe on the reverse. St. John's first opened in 1887.

This plat of Salina, Kansas was prepared for E. L. Bishop. Bishop's office of real estate, loans and insurance was located on Odd Fellows' Block in Salina. At the top St. John's Military Institute is illustrated. H. G. Johnston, city engineer, and county clerk Joseph Dargeuf certified that this plat was accurate. Its scale is 600 feet to one inch.
