Inmate Samuel P. Quick was received at the penitentiary on June 29, 1897 from Shawnee County, Kansas for rape.

The L. W. (Leslie Winfield) Halbe photo collection consists of 1500 glass plate negatives produced by Halbe during his teenage years.
