This majolica pitcher was likely produced in England in the 1880s. The "Gurgling fish" style was popular, so named because of the gurgling sound it made while pouring. This pitcher belonged to Major Jeremiah Benjamin Remington (1838-1912) of Osawatomie, Kansas.
