J.H. "Bud" and Lillie Pearl (Ewing) Johnson were married on May 25, 1904. They lived in Louisville before moving to Rossville, Kansas, in 1940. Bud was born June 24, 1879, in Louisville. He was a farmer and merchant. Lillie was born September 15, 1886, in Alma. Bud died November 19, 1970. Lillie died September 13, 1971. This photograph is provided through a pilot project to host unique cultural heritage materials from local libraries on Kansas Memory and was accomplished by mutual agreement between the Northeast Kansas Library System, the Rossville Community Library, and the Kansas Historical Society.
