A photograph of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church under construction. The corner stone of the church was laid by Bishop Fink on June 18, 1899. The dedication of the completed church took place on October 29, 1899. Pictured left to right are Joe DeGraff, Charles Bixby, Mr. Roberts, Ben Mileham, and Jerome Navarre. This photograph is provided through a pilot project to host unique cultural heritage materials from local libraries on Kansas Memory and was accomplished by mutual agreement between the Northeast Kansas Library System, the Rossville Community Library, and the Kansas Historical Society.
