T. H. Houston writes to Isaac T. Goodnow to ask if she could sell a few Manhattan lots. She lists the lot numbers and their worth. She writes that she has not seen her husband, Samuel Dexter Houston, who was at Wyandotte, for four weeks, and that the "college appears very beautiful from our house." Houston lists her location as Wild Cat [Creek].
