Atchison, Topeka, and Santa Fe diesel engine 260 "and sisters" pulling a manifest train (a fast freight train hauling perishables or livestock) through Amarillo, Texas. "Sisters" are apparently additional power units to aid the locomotive. The photograph was taken by Donald Erb for AT&SF.
