This photograph is looking down onto the 120 foot turntable at the Atchison Topeka and Santa Fe Railway Company roundhouse in Argentine Kansas City, Kansas. The roundhouse was built to house steam locomotives, but the diesel servicing operations were sheltered here temporarily while a modern diesel shop was being built.
