A letter from L. C. True requests Kansas Governor Humphrey appoint a successor for the position as the Judge of the 29th District. In the letter, True advises that there has been much strife as many individuals have applied for the position, but no one has been elected. A petition from individuals who ask the Governor to appoint H. L. Alden to fill the vacancy. Additional letters are from supporters of specific individuals applying for the appointment of 29th District Judge.
