This small brown pitcher with a salt glaze appears to have been blistered by heat. Originally on display at the Kaw Mission State Historic Site, the pitcher was given to a Mrs. Stevenson in 1890 by a member of the Kaw tribe. Mrs. Stevenson then gave the pitcher to Mrs. Blim, who donated it to the Kansas Historical Society.
