This metal arrow point was collected from a site in Wyandotte County and donated to the Kansas Historical Society in 2002. The site was occupied periodically between the Middle Ceramic and Historic periods. Later it may have been associated with the Delaware tribe. Some metal points were made by Indians from scraps of metal, such as barrel bands. Others were manufactured and traded to them by Europeans and Americans.
