Three rim and body sherds from a small jar were recovered during excavations in 1969 by Kansas Historical Society archeologists at the Nulik site in Sumner County. The excavations revealed a Great Bend aspect house and associated midden (refuse heap or mound). The jar had an outflaring rim, fine cord marking, and cooking residue on the outside of the vessel.
