Several photographs of Dunkirk, a small unincorporated community located in Crawford County 2 miles west of Franklin. Dunkirk was a camp for the Weir Coal Company and had a post office from 1915 to 1919. The area continues to exist as a cluster of occupied houses. Photographs include images of the local union hall, the public school, and a street scene.
