Three photographs of Skidmore mining camp in Cherokee County, Kansas. This unincorporated community, located seven miles north of Columbus, and on what is now highway K-7, was once home to about 300 residents. It had its own post office from 1903 through 1915. Photographs include images of a church, a school, and a store.
