Two photographs and a business card regarding Monmouth, Kansas. Monmouth was the third town laid out in Crawford County and is located six miles west of the town of Cherokee. The post office was established in 1866. The town continues to exist as a small unincorporated community. Photographs include images of mining equipment and the business card of Bobby J. Richardson, an evangelist coming to the Church of Christ in Monmouth.
