These four side-notched arrow points were recovered during excavations at 1983 Kansas Archeology Training Program field school at the Crandall site. The three arrow points on the top row are often called Washita points, identified as having hafting notches that are generally high on the blade. The one on the bottom is called a Harrell point, identified by its side- and basal-notches, and is made of Alibates flint from the Canadian River valley in the Texas panhandle. The Crandall site is a Late Ceramic period camp site in Rice County occupied by Great Bend aspect (ancestral Wichita) peoples.
