These six metal arrow points were recovered during excavations at Fool Chief's Village, a Kansa site in Shawnee County. Some metal points were made by Indians from scraps of metal such as barrel bands. Others were manufactured and traded to them by Europeans and Americans. Fool Chief's Village was the site of the 2012 Kansas Archeology Training Program field school, though excavations continued into 2013.
