These two gunflints were recovered during excavations at Fool Chief's Village, a Kansa village site in Shawnee County. Fool Chief's Village has been the site of several surveys and excavations between 1969 and 2013. These gunflints were recovered in 2011 during a Washburn University Field School. The gunflints were quarried and manufactured in southern England. The gunflint on the left has a single dorsal arris while the gunflint on the right has two dorsal arrisses.
