This warrant for the arrest of Lafayette Conner for contempt was issued on October 9, 1858 by the Second District Court of the Kansas Territory in Lecompton. The warrant is addressed to U. S. Marshal William P. Fain and signed by court clerk Loami McArthur. Conner was arrested on October 10, 1858 by Deputy Marshal W. P. Caldwell.
