This judicial writ relates to the case of the United States vs. James Campbell for contempt. The writ states Cameron failed to appear at the Second District Court in Lecompton, Kansas Territory on October May 4, 1857 to serve as a juror. The writ orders Campbell to appear before the court and explain why a final judgement should not be made against him.
