These legal documents relate to the case of the Kansas Territory vs. W. W. Bouton (Booton) for grand larceny. Bouton was accused of stealing a horse worth one hundred dollars on September 5, 1856. He was indicted by the U. S. District Court of the Kansas Territory, Second District, in Tecumseh during the November term of 1856. All arrest warrants were returned unserved.
