This case file includes an indictment and court transcript describing the case against William H. Anglea for stealing one grey horse worth twenty dollars from Paschal Fish in Douglas County, Kansas Territory on March 20, 1858. Anglea was indicted for grand larceny during the March term of 1858 by the 2nd U.S. District Court of the Kansas Territory. An order was issued for Anglea's imprisonment after he was unwilling to pay the $1000 bond.
