These two alternately beveled knife fragments were recovered from a Middle Archaic campsite in Montgomery County and donated to the Kansas Historical Society in 1976. Repeated sharpening on the knife's alternate sides created the bevels.

Date: 6000 B.C.E.- 4000 B.C.E.
