These dish fragments show just a few of those that were recovered from the Jotham Meeker farmstead site in Franklin County. The site was excavated in 1985 at a Kansas Archeology Training Program. Jotham Meeker served as a Baptist missionary among the Ottawa on their reservation. A wide variety of patterns were recovered from the site including dish sherds with shell-edged, transferware, spongeware, flow blue and hand painted patterns.
