These two rifle escutcheon plates were recovered from a possible Osage camp site in Montgomery County. Little is known about this site. Both brass decorative plates would have been on the stock of a rifle. One is decorated with incised curving lines and the other with a molded bird (eagle?) in a nest feeding her young.
