Several views of the exterior of the buildings at the V. A. Kear Sod House Museum in Colby, Thomas County, Kansas. Text on the reverse of the color postcard image: "V. A. Kear's nationally famous Sod House Museum, located on U.S. Hi-way 24, 2 miles east of Colby, Kansas. This is the first sod building in a village of six or more being built to preserve the history of prairie homestead days. This is the Prairie Homestead Capital of North America."
