These two complete minie balls were recovered from the surface of the Canville Trading Post and donated to the Kansas Historical Society in 1994. The Canville Trading Post was located near the Osage Reservation in Neosho County. Both minie balls are .56 caliber conical bullets with three grooves used for grease. The one on the left has a solid base, the one on the right has a conical base.
