These petroglyphs, and several others, are located on two panels on a Dakota sandstone bluff in Ellsworth County. While most petroglyphs in Kansas are incised, the glyphs at this site are grooved into the rock and represent hand and foot print glyphs. Other glyphs at the site include equestrian figures, a possible horse, turkey tracks, a possible butterfly, incised lines and a possible figure holding a shield. The petroglyphs have suffered from modern graffiti, being painted and gouged and natural erosion. These photographs were taken in 1979.
