This lock plate was recovered from a Montgomery County farmstead by Kansas Historical Society Archeologists. The lock is set within the body of door. The cast iron mortise door lock is decorated around the keyhole and one screw. It may have been painted on one side with white paint. The farmstead may have been abandoned by the early 1960s.
